This Yamaha 875 Custom tenor offers superb keywork along with a rich, full sound. Some might argue that these older custom Yamaha tenors boast a superb sound unmatched by the newer EX series. This horn has newer black Roo pads with nylon resonators, only about 1.5/years old. They all still look brand new as you would expect from high quality Kangaroo Leather. In addition to its original M1 neck, a Cannonball Vintage Reborn underslung neck is included with this horn. It really opens up the sound and was fitted with a custom tenon by Warburton.
Cosmetically this horn proves excellent. There are no dents on this horn. You can find some minor scratches throughout, and a small area of lacquer wear on the backside of the body tube from the horn rubbing inside the case over the years.
