This is the last year Selmer made the original Super Action 80, so you cannot find a newer one than this! It really offers a nice dynamic pallete of tonal colors. It's capable of adapting to just about any style of music. Interesting fact, the SA80 features the original pivot screw setup Selmers used to have before they went to the spring loaded mechanisms on the Series II models.
This particular example is in very nice condition. It plays top to bottom, well in tune, and only has one extremely small ping above the serial number. The horn has been serviced and is ready to play!
